LADISLAV BOBEK, DFC<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ladislav Bobek se sice p\u016fvodn\u011b za\u010dal u\u010dit \u010d\u00ed\u0161n\u00edkem, ale v\u017edy tou\u017eil l\u00e9tat. V osmn\u00e1cti se dobrovoln\u011b p\u0159ihl\u00e1sil k vojensk\u00e9mu letectvu, absolvoval z\u00e1kladn\u00ed vojensk\u00fd a pilotn\u00ed v\u00fdcvik, n\u00e1sledn\u011b st\u00edhac\u00ed v\u00fdcvik a kurz no\u010dn\u00edho l\u00e9t\u00e1n\u00ed. Kdy\u017e odch\u00e1zel z republiky, m\u011bl za sebou dvan\u00e1ctiletou slu\u017ebu u vojensk\u00e9ho letectva a z\u00e1vid\u011bn\u00edhodnou pilotn\u00ed praxi.<\/p>\n<p>Jeho cesta k RAF v\u0161ak byla velmi strastipln\u00e1. Za\u010dala v \u010dervenci 1939 a vedla p\u0159es Polsko, nouzov\u00e9 p\u0159ist\u00e1n\u00ed, zajet\u00ed Rudou arm\u00e1dou (tehdy byli je\u0161t\u011b Hitler a Stalin spojenci), internaci u Ni\u017en\u00e9ho Novgorodu a n\u00e1sledn\u00e9 cestov\u00e1n\u00ed lod\u00ed p\u0159es Istanbul, Suez a Bombaj. Do Liverpoolu Bobek dorazil v \u0159\u00edjnu 1940, tedy v\u00edce ne\u017e po roce. V RAF se p\u0159idal k 68. no\u010dn\u00ed st\u00edhac\u00ed peruti a zakr\u00e1tko se aktivn\u011b zapojil do opera\u010dn\u00ed \u010dinnosti.<\/p>\n<p>V letech 1942\u20131943 tato peru\u0165 br\u00e1nila no\u010dn\u00ed oblohu nad v\u00fdchodn\u00ed Angli\u00ed a p\u0159ilehl\u00fdmi vodami Severn\u00edho mo\u0159e. Bobek si vedl neoby\u010dejn\u011b \u00fasp\u011b\u0161n\u011b, byl pov\u00fd\u0161en do prvn\u00ed d\u016fstojnick\u00e9 hodnosti Pilot Officer a z\u00edskal ocen\u011bn\u00ed DFC. I kdy\u017e byl po n\u00e1vratu do republiky t\u011bsn\u011b po v\u00e1lce hodnocen jako pilot vynikaj\u00edc\u00edch kvalit, vzhledem k tomu, \u017ee neprojevil dostate\u010dn\u00fd z\u00e1jem o marxisticko-leninskou literaturu a politicky se neanga\u017eoval, osud v\u011bt\u0161iny z\u00e1padn\u00edch letc\u016f ho neminul. Z arm\u00e1dy byl bez ud\u00e1n\u00ed d\u016fvodu propu\u0161t\u011bn po dvaadvaceti letech slu\u017eby u letectva.
