ALOIS VA\u0160\u00c1TKO, DFC<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alois Va\u0161\u00e1tko se narodil v \u010cel\u00e1kovic\u00edch do rodiny truhl\u00e1\u0159e, po maturit\u011b kr\u00e1tce p\u016fsobil jako u\u010ditel, odtud celo\u017eivotn\u00ed p\u0159ezd\u00edvka Amos. V roce 1928 nastoupil do \u010deskoslovensk\u00e9 arm\u00e1dy, absolvoval d\u011blost\u0159eleckou a pozd\u011bji pozorovatelskou leteckou \u0161kolu.<\/p>\n<p>V roce 1935 p\u0159estoupil do \u010ds. letectva, kde nejprve slou\u017eil u pozorovac\u00edch jednotek. Po okupaci \u010ceskoslovenska uprchl p\u0159es Slovensko do Polska a n\u00e1sledn\u011b do Francie, kde absolvoval st\u00edhac\u00ed v\u00fdcvik a v bitv\u011b o Francii des\u00edtky bojov\u00fdch mis\u00ed. Podle odborn\u00fdch zdroj\u016f m\u011bl b\u011bhem boj\u016f ve Francii uzn\u00e1no p\u0159ibli\u017en\u011b 38 mis\u00ed a 12 sest\u0159el\u016f, \u010d\u00edm\u017e se \u0159adil mezi nej\u00fasp\u011b\u0161n\u011bj\u0161\u00ed \u010deskoslovensk\u00e9 st\u00edha\u010de t\u00e9to etapy v\u00e1lky. Po p\u00e1du Francie vstoupil do RAF, v \u0159\u00edjnu 1940 se pod\u00edlel na prvn\u00edm \u00fasp\u011b\u0161n\u00e9m sest\u0159elu \u010deskoslovensk\u00e9 312. st\u00edhac\u00ed perut\u011b nad \u00fazem\u00edm Brit\u00e1nie. Byl postupn\u011b jmenov\u00e1n velitelem B-Flightu, pozd\u011bji cel\u00e9 312. perut\u011b a nakonec velitelem Czechoslovak Fighter Wing \u2013 tedy \u010deskoslovensk\u00e9ho st\u00edhac\u00edho k\u0159\u00eddla. Pod jeho velen\u00edm perut\u011b l\u00e9taly na stroj\u00edch Supermarine Spitfire ve vzdu\u0161n\u00fdch boj\u00edch nad Kan\u00e1lem a okupovanou Evropou. Va\u0161\u00e1tko dos\u00e1hl dohromady 15 jist\u00fdch sest\u0159el\u016f, 4 pravd\u011bpodobn\u00fdch a po\u0161kodil 1 nep\u0159\u00e1telsk\u00fd letoun, co\u017e z n\u011bj \u010dinilo jedno z nej\u00fasp\u011b\u0161n\u011bj\u0161\u00edch \u010deskoslovensk\u00fdch st\u00edhac\u00edch es druh\u00e9 sv\u011btov\u00e9 v\u00e1lky.<\/p>\n<p>Dne 23. \u010dervna 1942 vedl doprovodn\u00fd let nad Laman\u0161sk\u00fdm pr\u016flivem, p\u0159i n\u011bm\u017e jeho Spitfire kolidoval s nep\u0159\u00e1telsk\u00fdm letounem. Va\u0161\u00e1tko zahynul p\u0159i hav\u00e1rii nad mo\u0159em, jeho t\u011blo nebylo nikdy nalezeno. V n\u00e1sledn\u00fdch letech mu byla ud\u011blena vysok\u00e1 v\u00e1le\u010dn\u00e1 vyznamen\u00e1n\u00ed, v\u010detn\u011b \u0158\u00e1du b\u00edl\u00e9ho lva a britsk\u00e9ho Distinguished Flying Cross.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gener\u00e1lmajor i.m.
